# Error: invalid_scope

 * I’ve followed the Google API instructions, and it all seemed very straightforward.
   But when I try to upload pics from Google Drive, I get this error:
 * 400. That’s an error.
 * Error: invalid_scope
 * You don’t have permission to access some scopes. Your project is trying to access
   scopes that need to go through the verification process. {invalid = [https://
   www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly]} If you need to use one of these scopes,
   submit a verification request.
 * Am I missing a step, some sort of verification process? Thanks so much!

 * [https://support.google.com/code/contact/oauth_app_verification](https://support.google.com/code/contact/oauth_app_verification)
 * I joined this group and was able to make the connection from WordPress: [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/risky-access-by-unreviewed-apps](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/risky-access-by-unreviewed-apps)
