  • Thanks for mentioning this here. We have also updated our instructions suggesting everyone installing the plugin does this:

    On Google Cloud Console project “APIs & auth” -> “Consent screen” make sure you enter both a Product Name and and email address.

    A handful of users have reported the ‘invalid client’ error message if they don’t do this – but it’s a good thing to do anyway, to make the site look more complete to their users.

    So our instructions now suggest everyone completes this step – but it’s easy to miss if you’re going quickly, so great to have a note here too!
