# Error Installing

 * I keep getting this message:

 * Parse error: parse error in /home/www/intrepid.freesuperhost.com/wordpress/wp-
   config.php on line 2
 * and
 * Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/www/intrepid.
   freesuperhost.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php on line 52
 * what’s wrong? I’m really new to this, I’d appreciate the help.

 * Check that your ftp client has correctly uploaded, in ASCII mode, all the files
   in all the directories.
    That error usualy occurs when a file is not uploaded
   correctly – look for any files with a size of 0.

 * Thanks for your suggestion. I looked it over and I didn’t see any spaces after
   the last line of ?> I appreciate your help though. What else could possibly have
   caused this error?

 * This is line 2:
 * `/** WordPress's config file **/`
 * So somehow the file has been uploaded (or unzipped) wrongly as the / should be
   seen as indicating a comment.
 * How are you unzipping / transferring files ?
