One is fine, the other is new as of today. * I am trying to add a new theme that is offered through WordPress, and getting an error. * No matter what the theme or if it new, popular, or Featured. * This is the error: * > Installing Theme: Moesia 1.09 > Downloading install package from [http://wordpress.org/themes/download/moesia.1.09.zip…](http://wordpress.org/themes/download/moesia.1.09.zip…) > Download failed. error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_verify:unknown > message digest algorithm * I have done searches in the forums but no issue is exactly similar to mine. * I have troubleshot by turning off all of my plug ins. I tried to add a plug in from this forum/similar issue: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-dropbox-api?replies=3](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-dropbox-api?replies=3) * That plug in wouldn’t load because it is “Missing a temporary folder.” * Although I don’t even know if that plug in will help due to the fact it was a similar but not exact issue. * Please help. It has never been this difficult for me to install a theme to a new WordPress blog. Getting the same error. I’ve recently updated to wordpress 4.0 with a view to updating my theme on [geniebet.com](http://geniebet.com), but get the exact same error as faisonlove had flagged. This happens for any attempted theme update. * I also set up a testing subdomain where I used an automated install via my hosting provider of wordpress 4.0, however the same error occurred on the test subdomain when I attempted to install any theme. * _Download failed. error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1\_verify:unknown message digest algorithm_ * I guess that suggests an issue with my hosting, however they have come back with the below response: * _As you have updated WordPress manually, there may be some compatibility issues with this installation it was it was installed through the Application Vault in the Control Panel. I suggest that you check documentation on WordPress.org in order to install WordPress manually. Send your hosting company a message including the error and see what they say. I manually updated one of the sites, but the errors remained.
