# Error installing Woocommerce to WordPress

 * I tried to install Woocommerce to my WordPress page but I keep receiving the 
   following error
    Installation failed: Could not copy file. woocommerce/vendor/
   symfony/css-selector/XPath/Extension/NodeExtension.php. Please help, I’m not 
   sure what to even try.

 * That is strange! Could you please try downloading the WooCommerce plugin from
   here: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/)
   
   Once downloaded, go to WP Admin → Plugins → Add New, and then upload the downloaded
   file.
 * See if you’re able to install WooCommerce this way. If the issue persists, then
   I recommend reaching out to your web host.

 * Hi,
 * I also tried to install Woocommerce but unsuccessful. It repeatly showed the 
   message: Installation failed: Could not copy file. woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-
   admin/images/marketing/mailchimp.svg.
 * And then I tried to download the Woocommerce file from the link mentioned in

 * However after install the downloaded zip file in wordpress, it showed: The link
   you followed has expired. Please try again.

 * If you’re receiving an error on your site, then please make a separate thread
   so we can take a look and offer guidance.
 * Due to the vast possibilities of plugin combinations and hosting environments,
   the same error may occur due to different reasons on different site, having a
   separate thread for each would make the troubleshooting easier.
 * Do open separate threads, and provide the status report of the site in those 
   threads as well for quicker assistance. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
   Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that,
   paste it here in your thread.
