# Error installing plugins

 * Hello all,
 * For some reason, I’m getting this error when trying to automatically install 
   any plugins:
 * **Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Filesystem_direct’ not found in /home/content/50/6978650/
   html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 793**
 * I built the site using the current version of WordPress 3.0.4. and never changed
   it to any other version. Plus I’ve successfully installed the following plugins
   with no problem:
 * Contact Form 7
    Flexi Quote Rotator Improved Include Page ShadowboxJS WP-Cufón
 * I’m not sure why I’m suddenly getting this error. Does anyone know how to fix
   this problem so I can install plugins automatically rather than manually through
   FTP?
