UPDATE: I’ve checked the diff in the dev logs and it seems the issue was primarily a function that only looked for the native woocommerce_checkout shortcode rather than looking to see if the post was a cart or checkout (using the WC functions)…??

Yes, you have that correct! There were some changes to the code that checks for cart & checkout that resulted in some types of cart and checkout pages not being correctly identified. The check was part of enqueuing the required scripts for the plugin, so as a result, the necessary scripts weren’t loaded on the page.
