    Hi again Tobias!

Thanks for your support, I’ve imported a table with csv file and Some special characters doesn’t display correctly. I’ve tried to import xls and the problem remains. The csv is generated in excel and the codification is utf8. I don’t know why but that csv works fine in the past.

    Can you help me, please?

    Sincerely yours,
    Ramon

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The only reason that I can think of here, is that something is not actually UTF-8. Please check if the CSV file really is UTF-8 and if everything in the server, database, and WordPress configuration is set to UTF-8.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Ok!!
Thank you very much again. I generated the file with excel and in its options I set UTF-8 codification but I’ve opened the file csv with Komodo edit and the codification was not in UTF-8. I’ve changed it and now it works.
    Perfect!!
    Sincerely yours,
    Ramon

no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Yes, Excel is sometimes not respecting these settings :-/

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
