Error in script could this be my hosting program?

    Okay I’ve checked the wp-config.php and it’s setup as should be. However when I try to go to the install page or any other page using a internet browser apparently something goes wrong and I get a “Error in script:” Nothing else is displayed. I’ve got the php and mysql as should be. I’m beggining to wonder if it may be my program used for hosting this. I’m currentyly using Small HTTP Server which is more or less as good as apache, just a lot easier to handle. Could this be a php related issue? Any help is very much appreciated; please note I’m not in a hurry. Thank you very much.

    You mean you are your own host?
    Is anything else running normally on that box?
    Actually, we do NOT provide support for learning how to set up a server. You should ask for that on more specialized places.

    I’ve never heard of your web server… is it known to work with PHP?

    Well it lets another site I host use some PHP coding, so I thought it would work just fine with wordpress. I’ve hosted things aside from just sites if that’s what you meant by “Is anything else running normally on that box?” I didn’t mean to ask for something that didn’t fall under what you don’t help with. If you don’t want to help that’s fine you can delete this topic. I just figured that I wasn’t the only one who might try to set it on their own server and I figured it might fall under installation. Sorry if it doesn’t.
