I just bought the pro version of content egg.
I’ve tried to setup Tradetracker & Zanox. Now, when I try to search a product on a post in the Tradetracker or Zanox tab, I get the following error:

Error: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> <html><head> <title>503 Service Unavailable</title> </head><body> <h1>Service Unavailable</h1> <p>The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.</p> </body></html>

Is this because I’m using WordPress 4.8? If so, I might want to wait to update my other affiliate sites since I’d like to use content egg for those as well. Or is this really just a temporarily error?

Do you have any “security” plugins installed? It may be causing the issue.

No, only security plugin installed is the Akismet Anti-spam plugin which isn’t active.

Maybe the problem is that wordpress isn’t installed on the root?

Example: domainname.com/site1/wp-content/plugins/content-egg is where the content egg folder is instead of domainname.com/wp-content/plugins/content-egg

Could this be the problem causing the error? If so, do you have any idea how to fix this? Or would it be easier to just reïnstall wordpress on the root?

    Problem found: the elementor plugin
