I am a beginner in Pods. I created a pods then created a template and attached the same. Everything worked fine.

Then I created a page and tried to put a Pods shortcode in shortcode block on the page for display.

However I am getting the following error and I can’t reach the page edit screen now so that I can remove the incorrect shortcode. Please help.

Database Error; SQL: SELECT DISTINCTt.* FROMwp_postsAStLEFT JOINwp_postmetaASbook_question_noONbook_question_no.meta_key= 'book_question_no' ANDbook_question_no.post_id=t.IDWHERE ( ( ”book_question_no.meta_value) AND (t.post_type= 'solutions' ) AND (t.post_statusIN ( 'publish' ) ) ) ORDER BYt.menu_order,t.post_title,t.post_date; Response: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '”book_question_no.meta_value) AND (t.post_type= 'solutions' ) A' at line 11

    Hi @anandagrawal444

Please temporarily disable Pods to remove the shortcode. After that you can simply enable Pods again!
It’s weird though, I would assume the editor would still function even if the block rendering doesn’t work. Are you using the block editor or the classic editor?

    Cheers, Jory

Thanks. This has worked. I was able to delete the shortcode.

I am using the block editor.

I am facing one more problem. Request if you can help in this one also.

I have created a pod. Then I created a template. Then I have placed that template on a page. I am also using PDF embedder. Now in each post I want to display the pods data and the file uploaded through PDF embedder.

But the file uploaded through PDF embedder is not getting displayed on the page.

I understand that whatever is part of template gets displayed on the page and since the PDF embedder block is added separately while filling the pods data so pdf block is not getting displayed on the page.

Request to provide the solution so that I can display the pods data along with the file uploaded through PDF embedder on the page.

    Hi @anandagrawal444

Sorry for my late reply, please open a new topic since it’s an unrelated issue next time!
The PDF should be added as a separate block I guess? I assume you mean the PDF embedder from the block editor. That function is for the block editor only.

    Cheers, Jory
