We are aware of this error message and it will be corrected in the next release. This error should only occur once during a first time installation. This error is occurring because a coding condition check (ie can or cannot copy the file) is being processed to early during the creation of the Uploads Anti-Exploit Guard .htaccess file. Please confirm that you are only seeing this error displayed once. Thank you.
When I click refresh it goes. I uninstalled BPS. Is it ok to install it and just ignore that error message?

Yes, you can ignore this error since it does not mean that something is not being done correctly. The issue is that I personally accidentally created a coding check that is out of sequence in this particular function. Example: the check is happening before the actual function has completed what it is supposed to do, which is check if your installation is a Network/Multisite installation, checks that the /blogs.dir folder exists and checks if the /blogs.dir folder is writable before trying to copy an .htaccess file to this folder. 😉
Ok, thats good to know. I will reinstall then.

And I went ahead and fixed this issue and uploaded a new zip file to the BPS Pro Secure Download Area. So if you would like this new zip file then download it and use the BPS Pro built-in upload zip installer to install the zip file – DO NOT use the WordPress Upload Zip installer (the WordPress Upload Zip installer should only be used for First Time installations). Thanks.
