Hi @borja250 ,
This could be an issue triggered by temporary caches or cookies on your site. Please make sure you save the changes properly, purge the caches completely from the site and browser before checking to be sure.
Best regards.
Hello.
That’s what I did, and the same thing keeps happening.
Also, if I make any changes to the “Override” of the variant, save, set it to global or parent, and the last Override change is maintained. That is, it doesn’t seem to affect the cache. The plugin takes into account the time period set in the Override variant, regardless of what you do.
Also, in the plugin options, I have selected: Reload dates.
Yes.
Will dates be reloaded when opening the page? If you use the cache for your site, please turn on this option.
So, it shouldn’t affect any type of cache, right?
Best regards.
Hi @borja250 ,
The caches might be saved in different places, not just on your site. Our developers said that the option was to reload the dates with saved caches, but users might still need to delete the caches from the browser when checking again to be sure.
Please make sure you check it in an Incognito or Private tab after clearing the browser caches as well.
Best regards.
Hello.
Yes, I’ve already tested it, and it’s not a cache error, because if it were, it would always show the same dates, which isn’t the case.
The error is simple: if you change the deadline in a variant of an article, it remains there forever, even if you change it to global or parent.
You change the deadline in the variant, and the new deadline always appears, so the cache has no effect. The error is that it can no longer retrieve the global or parent, and that can’t be a cache error. If it were a cache error, the same date would always be shown and wouldn’t be updated when I make changes to that variant. I don’t know if you understand me…
Hi @borja250 ,
Please spare us some time, we will inspect this further and get back to you with results on our dev site.
On my initial check, the settings were saved properly from my end here.
Best regards.
Hi @borja250 ,
Our developers tried to reproduce this issue on our dev site but no luck. It seems that something outside of our plugin is interfering with the functionality on your site.
We can provide the testing screen recording but it is kind of large so I cannot share it right now. But we do take some tests to confirm from our end that it is working properly.
Are you using any external plugin for displaying the variations on your site? Some interfaces might not load the dates properly until the selection has been made after several attempts.
To be sure, maybe you want to troubleshoot from your end a little further by disabling all other plugins, just keep WooCommerce and our plugin active. Change the settings several times to check the functionalities on a pure installation.
If you are using any block-based theme or template or page editor, please try the Classic editor instead since some of our plugins are not compatible with the block-based editor.
Please let me know the result of this from your end.
If possible, please provide us with a public link to your product with estimated delivery date configured as you prefer so that we can inspect from our side.
Best regards.
