# Error in creating child theme

 * Hi! I create a css for a child theme. I create new folder in wp-content and I
   upload the css child theme, but when I go to wp dashboard->appereance->themes
 * I get an error
 *     ```
       Broken Themes
   
       The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
   
       Name	Description
       Accesspress Lite	The parent theme is missing. Please install the "AccesspressLite" parent theme.
       ```

 * You surely miss the reference to the parent theme in the header of the stylesheet.
   That is needed because a child theme cannot live without its parent theme.
    If
   you want to simplify the whole process and see how a child theme is made, try
