 * Hi [@sramselaar](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sramselaar/)
 * The errors you’re seeing are related to PHP – the programming language that powers
   WordPress and WooCommerce. It looks like there may be some compatibility issues
   with the current version of PHP that your server is using and the WooCommerce
   plugin.
 * Here’s what I recommend you do:
    1. Contact your hosting provider and ask them to update PHP on your server to PHP
       7.4 or 8.2.1.
    2. Make sure all your WordPress plugins and themes are updated to their latest
       versions. This includes WooCommerce and any WooCommerce extensions you might
       be using.
    3. Once your PHP version has been updated and all your plugins and themes are up
       to date, try to reactivate WooCommerce.
 * If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, please get
   back to us with the following:
    - **System Status Report:** Navigate to **WooCommerce → Status**. Select **Get
      system report** and then **Download for Support**.
    - **Fatal Error log:** Share a copy of any fatal error log found under **WooCommerce
      → Status → Logs**.
 * You could copy and paste your reply or share it via [https://pastebin.com/](https://pastebin.com/)
   and send the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you
   with a more accurate solution.
 * Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

 * Thank you for your reply. Setting to php 7.4 worked. But why only php 7.4 or
   8.2.1 and nothing in between?

 * Hi [@sramselaar](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sramselaar/)
 * I’m glad to hear that updating to PHP 7.4 resolved your issue.
 * The reason we recommend PHP 7.4 to 8.2.1 is because these versions are the most
   stable and secure, and they are fully compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce.
 * Other versions may not have the same level of compatibility and could potentially
   introduce errors or security vulnerabilities.
 * Detailed information can be found here: [https://woo.com/document/server-requirements/](https://woo.com/document/server-requirements/)
 * I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free
   to ask.
