    Thanks for sharing the information.

    We have tested Site Kit with HostGator & we can recreate this at our end. It seems this issue is more relevant to the hosting side. We’ll contact HostGator support team shortly regarding this issue & let you know.

    We have also opened the GitHub issue as well for further investigation. Please subscribe for updates.

    Best Regards,

    I am having the same issue.

    @thezenofgavin @gabrielpierrecv ,

    There is a good news 🙌

    Finally I am able to setup Analytics property after continues discussion with the HostGator Support Team as there was a technical issue from the hosting side. As per support team we have whitelisted the rule ID globally at our system level so it should work fine for all users.

    Please give it a try to setup Analytics module again & let us know if you have any issues.

    @abdullahramzan Hey!
    My error keeps. Should I talk to hostgator support?

    (@jamesosborne)

    @gabrielpierrecv You can indeed talk with Hostgator support however before doing so can you confirm you’ve disconnected the Analytics module before then trying to connect once more (Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit > Disconnect Analytics from Site Kit)?

    @gabrielpierrecv Were you able to discuss this issue with HostGator support? Are you still experiencing this error?

    We’ve identified that this error is occurring due to a recent change in Mod_Security rules. While some hosting providers may be able to adjust these rules, others may not, so we’re going to apply an update in the next Site Kit release (before end of June) to fix this error in the plugin.

    @gabrielpierrecv We’ve implemented a fix for this issue in today’s release of v1.34.1 of Site Kit. Please make sure that your Site Kit plugin is updated and you should be able to successfully set up Analytics now.

    I’ll mark this issue as resolved, but feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic if you’re still having trouble and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
