# Error importing WordPress.com XML

 * I moved my blog from wordpress.com to self-hosted wordpress.org. I exported my
   content from wordpress.com before the transfer, and now when I try to import 
   it onto my new site at wordpress.org, it won’t load. It’s saying there is no 
   data.
 * Has anyone had this problem? It won’t load anything, not even my posts, which
   is worrying because I may have lost everything.

 * CAn you open the xml file in Notepad?
