Hi @jen000,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Can you please share the CSV file that you are trying to import so that we can check it? You can share the CSV by uploading it to Google Drive or WeTransfer or any similar service and sharing the link. Or else, you can share it via support and mention this support thread URL when submitting the ticket.

Hi sorry for the delay. I’ve been trying hard to resolve this issue but I’m getting nowhere. I can import the main image fine but the gallery images produce errors. Here is a link to the csv I am using
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eAJKOIfa5BZ2uPq8GMQ-3FcYn38fJ7-U/view?usp=sharing
I have worked out that the problem isn’t the way I am combining the images. I have tried to import Image 2 or Image 3 as the main image and I get the same error message which is:
04-03-2023 @ 14:42:55 – Setting Featured Image. URL:https://portal.somethingdifferentwholesale.co.uk/images/EI_40713
04-03-2023 @ 14:42:55 – URL:https://portal.somethingdifferentwholesale.co.uk/images/EI_40713 Reason:Error getting remote image https://portal.somethingdifferentwholesale.co.uk/images/EI_40713. Error: Not Found
04-03-2023 @ 14:42:55 – Setting Gallery Images.
04-03-2023 @ 14:42:55 – Image URL:1.jpg
04-03-2023 @ 14:42:55 – Unable to use image “1.jpg”.
Its as if the file name is being corrupted during the import process so that the .jpg is removed. The img file path works fine if I paste it into a browser.
I have used a default theme and deactivated all the other plugins. But it didnt help.
I have switched on the debug feature and this is what it shows
PHP Warning: exif_read_data(CH_40723.jpg): Incorrect APP1 Exif Identifier Code in /home/l7zk4r53grv9/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 848
If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful!
Hi @jen000,
We have gone through the CSV data you shared and it seems like the issue you are facing with the import is because the image URLs contain comma symbols in them. When the URL contains comma symbols the plugin considers the first part before the comma as one image URL and the data after the comma symbol as another image URL and it fails to import the image.
We have developed a custom code snippet to overcome this issue. Please try copying the snippet from here and adding it to your site’s active theme’s functions.php file and try importing and check.
