But in contrast if you see it, you can select an image for a menu and the same image would work for inner (child) menus. So I tried it and it works as you said. But I need a sitemap page with a header image. And that is not under any menu items. You can try like this, create a menu item for your desired page and then make it invisible with CSS class.
