ERROR: Gift card number already exists.

    Hi team, I have manually uploaded hundreds of vouchers and wanted to change the expiry and value of each value.

    As there is not a bulk edit function we had to manually delete all the vouchers and then delete again to permanently remove.

    However, when I then upload a new csv with the same voucher codes, new expiry dates and values it fails to upload saying that “ERROR: Gift card number already exists.”

    Please can you advise how we can upload all of the existing voucher codes again.

    I figured out a way to delete rows directly within SQL but it would be good to have this actioned from the plugin 🙂

    The PW Gift Cards Pro version has an option to soft-delete and to permanently delete gift cards. If you have the free version you can delete them from the database directly if necessary.

    Hi guys, I have the pro version but there isn’t an option to remove from SQL database.

    The WP-plugin only offers you a delete and then a permanently delete button. Neither of these actually removes them from the SQL database which means you can’t use the same voucher codes again unless you manually remove yourself.

    The Permanently Delete button will remove them from the database.
