 * Getting above error when trying to import an external URL as image for woocommerce
   product, through the built-in product import function using CSV.
 * Image URL is
    [https://uk.louisvuitton.com/images/is/image/lv/1/PP_VP_AS/louis-vuitton-capucines-mini-capucines-handbags–M53128_PM2_Front](https://uk.louisvuitton.com/images/is/image/lv/1/PP_VP_AS/louis-vuitton-capucines-mini-capucines-handbags–M53128_PM2_Front)
   view.jpg
 * Tried this as well, but it is not working

 * Hi [@leejie8008](https://wordpress.org/support/users/leejie8008/),
 * This IS the image you were trying to import, correct? If so, could you share
   the CSV file with us?

 * Any file hosting service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc…) will work fine for sharing
   that, even your WordPress media library could work.

 * Hi this is the link to a sample CSV file.

 * I am trying to get directly from the original website, works well previously
   when trying on different website.
 * Thanks!

 * [@leejie8008](https://wordpress.org/support/users/leejie8008/) It may be that
   the host/site itself is blocking the request. I saved the same image, uploaded
   it to my own server, then performed the import with the external link and it
   worked as expected.

 * So there is no way to directly get the image from remote host?

 * If the host is blocking the request, no it wouldn’t be possible to do so.

 * Hi there,
 * Of course, happy to help figure it out. It may take some manual work, like Jesse
   did, if the server is blocking any download requests, but at least there is still
   hope!
