Error gathering analytics data from Google – GDatabadRequestInvalid filter

  • InHouse

    @inhouse

    Hello, I am using Google Analytics Dashboard as well as a plugin called SimpleMaps which create custom post types. The analytics display perfectly for all posts except 1 which is giving me an error.

    Error gathering analytics data from Google: GDatabadRequestInvalid filter: 'ga:pagePath=~?sm-location=gorgers.*'. Regular expressions should follow RE2 syntax.Could not load data

    I can’t see anything particular about this specific post compared to the other locations. I’m not using permalinks for ANY of these custom post types. They simply display under a map on the same exact page so analytics aren’y even really applicable for these posts. I would love to disable analytics for these posts all together if possible or figure out what the error is caused by. Thanks for any help.

  • I am having the same issue. Anyone figure this one out?

    I have deactivated, reinstalled. Im running the latest everything. It was happening before and after I upgraded to WP 3.5 (from 3.4.2) Also, it was working on this site. Now it is not.

    I have this plugin running fine on a bunch of other sites on my server with same set of other plugins (thinking of conflicts)
