ERROR: FTP server reply: 530 Login authentication failed

    Hello,

    I keep receiving this error in my last 3 backups:

    ERROR: FTP server reply: 530 Login authentication failed

    I haven’t changed the credentials to login. Also, I can still login with the same credentials on filezilla.

    What could be the issue?

    Hi @florianmarianna
    Which port did you config BackWPup backup to? 21 or 22?
    to view that, you can check your job setting -> To:FTP tab.
    And for now, BackWPUp only support backup to FTP or FTPs only, SSH FTP is currently under development.

    Actually I needed to resave the options for some reason it wasn’t working anymore even if it had the correct password
