 * I am getting this error on the website following a recent wordpress update. The
   error is within the Virtue theme:
 * Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable
   in /home/falconbo/public_html/demelzasdecor.co.uk/wp-content/themes/virtue/lib/
   cmb/init.php on line 714
 * The file is too large to edit in CPanel and I haven’t set up FTP access yet so
   am unsure what is on line 714.
 * Basically does anyone know what to change it to to fix this error?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ferror-following-wordpress-update%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hey,
    So sorry for the delay! Are you still experiencing this? Have you tried
   reaching out to your host to see if they have any insight regarding this?

 * Hi there, yes, they say the problem is within the theme files. It’s the only
   website I have using this theme and the only one with this issue.

 * line 714 in the mentioned file is:
 *  elseif ( is_array( $meta_box[‘pages’] ) && count( $meta_box[‘pages’] === 1 ))

   $type = is_string( end( $meta_box[‘pages’] ) ) ? end( $meta_box[‘pages’] ) :
   false;

 * I haven’t heard of any others experiencing this. Have you tried deactivating
   your plugins to test if any are conflicting? I suggest starting there. Let me
   know if there’s no change.

 * Hi, no luck deactivating plugins.
 * I did find this – if you google “/wp-content/themes/virtue/lib/cmb/init.php on
   line 714” you get the results of an awful lot of websites running Virtue that
   have the same issue.

 * Hey,
    This would mean you have a very old version of Virtue running. The current
   version is 3.4.1 can you tell me what version you are using?
 * Ben
