"Error establishing db connection" pages are being cached

    It happens sometimes. MySQL goes down and server admins or the bots need to restart it. The problem is that if WP Super Cache grabs the page content during those times, the error page is cached and served for quite a while.

    So basically it extends an otherwise 2-3 minute downtime to potentially hours or days, depending on your settings.
