 * for [moronic expletive deleted] sake ive spent numerous days, browsing through
   the network and trying all sorts of crazy [moronic expletive deleted] but none
   of it works. I tried both xampp and wamp. nothing. i looked through numerous 
   ideas and solutions-nothing. Changing the “l” to capital “L” in localhost, adding
   random lines in the wp-db.php and so on. and still

   > php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost.
   > This could mean your host’s database server is down.
   >  * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
   >  * Are you sure
   > that you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database 
   > server is running?
   > If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   > If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
 * when i manually create the wp-config.php i get
 * > Error establishing a database connection
 * so honestly is there a solution that makes any sort of logical sense or is it
   time to forget about wordpress and look for other solutions? thanks!

 * I think it’s time you move on. The error is straightforward and 99% of time it
   is user error – plus you didn’t read the docs…so.
