Set up a temp admin to test

Hid all on the Admin Menu that my client would not use

Went to log out and got “Error establishing a database connection” – front end was down as well.

I will test this further on staging server and report back

    Hi @nightl,

Make sure you apply the menu to a specific role. I haven’t heard of this before though.

Also if your goal is to hide everything it’s probably best to do this with custom css

I reactivated, while logged in, hoping to try your reset URL – but all was OK

Yeah – I had assigned it to my main account

Could have this error been triggered by my making changes via the non assigned admin account?

    **Update**
Just checked my emails – message from my WHM

I think this by chance coincided with a failed WHM automated update.

The cPanel & WHM update process failed for the following reason:

Maintenance ended; however, it did not exit cleanly (256). The following events were logged: “scripts/mysqlconnectioncheck”. Review the update logs to determine why the update failed.
