Error establishing a database connection

    I have just tried to go to my website and this error has come up (see below) and I can’t get into WordPress.org or my website? Any simple help would be appreciated?

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql4.clusterdb.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?

    are you able to access your files in your webhosting account?
    maybe you can accesss in file manager area if you have cpanel in your webhosting account
    the wp-config file *might* need to be reviewed and adjusted.

    Hi Lisa, Thank you for this. Yes I am with 123 REG but I have little to no idea of coding or getting into my WordPress site. I am however logged into 123REG but don’t honestly know where to look?

    -contact the 123reg support team for exact guidance to find your FILE MANAGER and PHPMYAMDIN areas in your account.
    -contact 123reg support team for help to find the database information in your account.

    In the file manager you should see a file wp-config.php which needs to be reviewed to be sure that the information matches the database with all of the content of your website.
