Error establishing a database connection

    I have Restored backup on new domain with home directory and database . but i am getting the error “Error establishing a database connection”. I have checked hostname,usernam,and password also in wp-config.php file. Please help me

    Did you check the table prefix?

    $table_prefix = 'wp_';

    Open phpMyAdmin and check the table prefix and make sure that it matches with the variable in file wp-config.php
