Error establishing a database connection.
-
I have wordpress network installed with 3 sites running.
Trying to upload media, I kept getting an error that the uploads folder didn´t have write permissions. After severl hours of looking via FTP to find the uploads and even the site files for one of the sites, I started, (yeah, I know foolishly) playing around with the network configurations. I I changed the path from / to /wp when I saved it, I can no longer access anything for the network settings, or any of the sites. I get an “error establishing a database connection.”
I´ve looked at the wp-config.php and don´t see anything. I´ve also looked at the last modification dates of all of the files in all of the folders, via FTP to see if I can find one that was changed. The short answer to this long post is, I can´t find anything, nor can I get back into any of the pages or access them via ManageWP.Can you please help me with 2 things.
1) get my access back
2) tell me what I need to change and where it is, so that I can upload media and have them show up in the library. With regard to the second question, Using FTP and searching, I found the media files that I have previously uploaded. I uploaded some JPG´s into that folder, but they do not show up in the media library. I´m assuming that probably IS a database issue, but I don´t know how to fix it.
The current sites are: wp.ednetb.com, ois.ednetb.com
Thanks
