note that that link may not be something you want to leave there once you get your blog all to your liking, so most people just bookmark where that goes.
as for that error you are seeing — intermittent connection issues such as you describe are host problems. especially in your case.

a paid godaddy acct??? godaddy is fine, just insure that you get the Linux plan and not the windows plan.
I think their proprietary control panel blows and is very confusing .. but other than that, yah it works.
generally speaking, I just prefer a host that uses cpanel.
is funpic one of those free hosts? if so, than yes, you may see intermittent issues like this. free hosts tend to suck.

In the case of hosting environments, it would take me all day to explain the differences. Suffice to say that unless you want to run ASP you dont want or need a windows based server.
godaddy is also notorious for their windows servers not playing nice with wordpress.
