This is the error message I am receiving when i try to view my site. Is it because i just the server takes 1 to 2 days to become active?
Can someone send me an example of how the wp-config.php text should look.

    thanks!

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at bluehost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

If your wp-config.php is fine, and sometimes you have no problem (i.e. WordPress displays just fine) then probably an issue with your host's database server.

I also had the same problem initially. Then I changed the localhost to the IP address, now it is loading a blank page for install.php. I am not sure what needs to be done on host's database server. We have another company who hosts our website.

usualy it's 99% "localhost" that should be placed but on some server like godaddy it's another combination ...

    xxx.name.something123

ask your company they should help you .
