Support » Plugin: WooCommerce SecureSubmit Gateway » Error During Checkout, “Make sure browser Supports Javascript:

  • Hi There, we are just about to launch a new web site, and the final step was to test to make that that the checkout worked. Every time that I try to check out, I am getting this error: Error: “Please make sure your card details have been entered correctly and that your browser supports JavaScript.”

This is the current site (Just staging, will change to the real domain as soon as this is figured out)

Can anyone help me figure out what is causing this?

    Thank you!

As discussed via email, we typically see this error when there is a JavaScript conflict during checkout. In your particular case, our JavaScript is loaded on checkout successfully, but when a consumer hits the “Place Order” button, our form submission handler is not being ran even though it is active on the checkout page. We have not been able to reproduce the error on a standard installation of WordPress and WooCommerce, but if you’re able to provide a list of installed plugins and their versions, we should be able to continue our testing to see if we can resolve your issue.

For others who may run across this post and who have this issue, the standard practice for finding the cause of the conflict is to deactivate other plugins and themes until the conflict is found. The conflicting plugin/theme is often the best place to correct the conflict, but in certain cases, we can incorporate the case into our plugin.
