Error – downloadable products
-
Hello!
After update to the latest version of Woocommerce 5.5.0 customers can’t access to the purchased downloaded products. They get a message: File Not Found – Go to Shop
What is wrong? How to resolve this? Thanks.
Best regards,
R.

Hi @robert4web – Can you send us a copy of your site’s system status report? You can find that at: WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > ‘Get system report’
Hello Joey!
Thanks. I have this Site’s System Report. How I can send it private? Namely in this report are sensitive informations about website. Thanks.
Best regards,
R.

You can redact any of the personal information, but we do not have any other method of sending it. Any links are also
nofollow
, so they aren’t tracked.Hello!
Will be this enough?
Best regards,
R.

I have the exact same problem; I reported it here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/file-not-found-error-for-downloadable-product-orders/This gent did the same yesterday:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/file-not-found-when-using-product-download-link/Thanks…
I also have posted my site’s system status report to my original ticket, if that’s of any help. Thanks.
I am experiencing the same issue. 10k customers and they’re NOT happy right now.
Test shows the download works ok when the File download setting is set to ‘redirect only’ but not on ‘force download’ or ‘X-Accel-Redirect’.
Any clues? Thanks @elvis89. I just had my hosting company add to the site/server the mod_xsendfile Apache module and htaccess code from the article instructions, but doing so did not resolve the issue.
Perhaps another person experiencing this issue can try your suggestion and report back if it worked for them?
Seems odd that this functionality worked perfectly for years without the apache module installed, too…
