I’m receiving the message Error: Distribution for origin “[bucket-name].s3.amazonaws.com” not found when I click the test S3 Upload & CloudFront Distribution Button.

The bucket is created and exists, the region is set correctly, the IAM user exists and has full access to the bucket and CLoudFront. The CloudFront distribution is created and in the enabled state.

The distribution has two origins. One is for Elastic Beanstalk hosts, the other is for the S3 bucket and the origin is [bucket-name].s3.amazonaws.com.

Is there anything else I’m missing on the setup?

    Hello @cdeweese,

    Hey @vmarko,

Thanks. I reviewed those. There’s one thing I may investigate because the bucket does not have a dns compliant name. i.e., my-s3.mydomain.com. Our other buckets with distributions do follow that convention. This one was set up by folks no longer at my company.

In the plugin configuration page, if I set the bucket name to the full DNS name, do not select a region, I get an error that the bucket isn’t found. If I select the region and have the bucket name as the full dns name [bucket-name].s3.amazonaws.com, I get an error that the bucket isn’t found.

If I enter only the bucket name without the “.s3.amazonaws.com” and select the correct region (US-West), that is when I get the error that the distribution for origin ‘[bucket-name].s3.amazonaws.com’ not found.

    Hello @cdeweese,

Apparently there’s something with your config. And in order to check everything we need access so I can only recommend professional support here.
Go to your WP Dashboard, Performance>Support. and select CDN configuration.
