i can’t get SendPress to work through any of my Office 365 email addresses. Works fine through gmail and other SMTP email addresses (when configured with wp-mail-smtp.

I’ve configured wp-mail-smtp to use a mailbox hosted with office 365 and I can send test emails from there fine. However, when I try to send a test email from SendMail I get the following

    HI trevorwood,

We are looking into this. I have not tried it with office 365 but will get and account and see if we can figure out what the issue is.

    Best,

this mat be related to the other thing I’ve logged to do with the return address not being set correctly. The authentication with Office365 needs to have the return address authorised to be able to send and if the return address isn’t the same as the sending address Office365 barfs

    HI trevorwood,

We don’t set a return address directly phpmailer i believe sets the return address to the same as the from address.

Does the email on you sending settings match the one you use to authenticate with?

    The email address does match

This happened to me and it was because I set a different bounce address.

I set the bounce address to be the same as the sender and then it worked.
