When adding the [customer-order] shortcode to a page on a fresh wordpress 5.2.2 install makes the page broken. I get a ‘updating failed’ notice when trying to update the page with the new shortcode. Previewing is broken as well.

This only happens with the customer-order shortcode, other shortcodes do work as expected.

    Hi @willemts,

Although it says updating failed, do you see any visible changes on the front end? Does the shortcode function as intended?

Also, if you were to use the gutenberg block instead of the shortcode, does the error message still appear upon clicking save?

Yes, all changes are applied as intended.

Yes, the error occurs even with the gutenberg block of the customer order form.

    Hi @willemts,

Thank you for your reply. It is a good sign that the changes were in fact applied. I have reported this to the dev team and they will push out a patch for this issue in one of the upcoming updates. In the meantime, you can ignore it.
