Error creating payment intent with Stripe

    Hey there!

    I recently set up GiveWP and tried testing the donation feature for Stripe and received this error message: Error: Error creating payment intent with Stripe. Please try again.

    Based on previous users’ experience here, I tried figuring out what could be causing the issue using the Health Check plugin but for some reason, I’m unable to load my website in Troubleshoot mode.

    Can someone please help me?

    I have an update. I selected Stripe – Checkout under Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways > Gateways.

    Upon refreshing the page I noticed that I was brought to Stripe’s page to “check out” but I received this error message instead: “Stripe doesn’t currently support application fees for platforms in US with connected accounts in MY”.

    For your reference, we’re an Asian arts & culture website based in Malaysia and are hoping to get people to support us financially through the GiveWP plugin.
