Error creating leave years

    I have just installed the plugin, and following the docs to setup the leave section.

    I get the following error when trying to create a new year:
    “Please give a financial year name on row #1”

    I have filled in all 3 fields, and tried various alpha/numeric names.

    I have this exact issue as well. It prevents me from setting up leave policies as they don’t load leave types in the leave policy creator with the year in row 1 not loading properly.

    Seems to be a few people on the official forums as well @jocasio – hopefully they are looking into it and will be resolved asap!

    I hope so too. Ive done a second install and came up with the same error. Loaded in financial years 2022, 2023, 2024 then tried to create leave year for each as top row and all of them returned the error please give a financial year name on row #1.

    I put in a manual entry in the database under table wp_erp_hr_financial_years. It shows in the front end but if you try to modify it or update it in the front end it still shows the same error. It is selectable in the Leave Policies page but I cannot select a Leave Type in that from the ones in system for some reason still to be determined.

    Are the database fields wrong they are set as INT (11) not dates unlike the wpcj_erp_acct_financial_years table?

    Urgh managed to set dates manually use strtotime then struggled to add Leave types to policies then couldn’t add Policy to Employee.

    Gave up for now.
