I’ve installed the UpdraftCentral self-hosted site. Its working perfectly having added several sites. I generated the key for http://www.accessamericagroup.com, but got the following error:

There was an error in contacting the remote site. You should check that the remote site is online, is not firewalled, has remote control enabled, and that no security module is blocking the access. Then, check the logs on the remote site and your browser’s JavaScript console. If none of that helps, then you should try re-adding the site with a fresh key.

The site is a very generic site with no content and only a few plugins, no security or firewall. I’ve tried to re-add the site, without any success. what am I missing?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Do you get the same error if you use a different browser?
Could you also check with your host/server admin if there are firewalls blocking the connection to UpdraftCentral?

    Regards,
    Bryle

I’ve been having the same issue now for a week.
One site (out of about 15) will connect, and the rest will “time out.”
I’ve gone into the back-end, and it’s linked up correctly.
Everything is up to date as well.
This happened suddenly, and is not correcting itself.

Were you ever given a solution???

(I tried multiple browsers on several devices. No firewall or AV active AT ALL…still same issue)
