Hi I am trying to link my Mailchimp to Woocommerce. Every time I enter the API Key, I get the following error. Can you help resolve this?

CURL error :: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: D:\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PHPSettings\cacert.pem CApath: none

    Additional error message:

Mailchimp says: API Request Error – 500 :: CURL error :: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: D:\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PHPSettings\cacert.pem CApath: none on 1610 in D:\Inetpub\vhosts\rhea-solutions.co.uk\wobuk.co.uk\wp-content\plugins\mailchimp-for-woocommerc

@chandinipaterson thanks for reaching out on this topic. This is a common server misconfiguration that needs to be addressed by your web hosting company – or your server admins. They will need to add and configure PHP to use the CACert.

Here is another post that had the same problem – it may or may not pertain to your situation but it will certainly help.

Once you’ve done that, the problem will be fixed immediately.

@chandinipaterson good to hear. After you get your plugin all synced up, if you would please be so kind as to leave us a fair review, that would be greatly appreciated 🙂
