# ERROR-CODE: CONNECTION issue

 * Hi there,
    I have exact the same issue described: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-code-connection/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-code-connection/).
 * It’s quite strange, that I used that plugin for some time (probably for 2-3 days,
   just linked my social accounts), but today I opened the plugin tab and see ERROR-
   CODE: CONNECTION issue.
 * htaccess contains `php_value memory_limit 512M`, wp-config contains `define( '
   WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );` and everything else stayed the same since the last
   time I used the plugin. Tried to deactivate/reinstall plugin as well. The same
   issue appears for other users.

 * Well, that’s weird, but after contacting my hosting provider, without any action
   from their side, bug disappeared.
    Troubleshooting-Tool shows ([https://imgur.com/a/Oc5Qfad](https://imgur.com/a/Oc5Qfad)),
   that I have an issue with wp-json, but it seems to me, that it works OK – when
   I open sitenam.com/wp-json/ it shows me some data. Maybe that issue has something
   to do with wordfence security?, but I tried to disable wordfence and nothing 
   happened.
 * Anyway, the issue is fixed for now. Sorry for bothering!
