    Hello

I had this error yesterday. Everything was fine, publicize was working fine. Then I removed twitter connection to try something else. When I tried to connect it back, this error came out.
Now I cannot connect my site to IFTTT because wordpress.com does not recognize my self hosted site and it says make sure jetpack is up to date.

I already uninstalled and re-installed and re-connected to wordpress.com, still same.

    Here is my website: http://www.buzzluk.com

Thanks in advance for your help

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately, I receive a 408 error when querying that file from our servers at the moment

Although IFTTT is unrelated to WordPress.com, it also uses the XML-RPC file to access your site, and that’s most likely you’re having trouble with IFTTT as well.

If you use a security plugin to block access to the file, you’ll need to configure it to allow incoming and outgoing connections to /xmlrpc.php.

If you do not use such plugin, you’ll want to contact your hosting provider and ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file.

    I hope this helps.
