Error "Can not import the tag" but doen't import nothing

    Hi all. I use on my website wordpress 3.8, wordpress importer to import and use an old couple. xml file that contains a backup of old articles.
    The dimensions of the two files are one of 1.77 Mb and the other of 8.39. Unfortunately Risco not to import any content because I get the error message repeated several times throughout the page “Impossibile importare il tag”.
    Could you help me to solve the problem and import the file? thank you very much.

    I’ve tried to split the xml file into multiple smaller files with WXR split but the result is identical to what was said in the previous message. Thank you!
