Error: Bootstrap’s JavaScript requires jQuery version 1.9.1 or higher

    Hello 🙂

    When I check my console, there appears the error message:

    “Error: Bootstrap’s JavaScript requires jQuery version 1.9.1 or higher, but lower than version 4”

    What does this means and how can I solve this?

    Hello @terraterra,

    I cannot reproduce with either the Twentytwelve theme or the Avada theme on a quick test. Please understand — I cannot help you if I cannot reproduce the problem. Help me reproduce the problem by providing more information about your WordPress setup. What theme are you using; if it’s not a free theme you’ll need to provide a copy to hi@NOSPAMlittle-package.com (remove NOSPAM to get the address to work). What version of WordPress and Woocommerce and this plugin are you using? If you have other plugins using Bootstrap, it’s possible the error isn’t coming from this plugin at all. Please also disable all your other plugins and see if you still get the error. Otherwise, without this type of requisite information (for any bug) it’s all guess work on this end.

    @terraterra,

    What’s interesting to me about this is WordPress comes bundled with jQuery 1.12.4, so I’m wondering how or why you’re running an older version of jQuery with your WP install. In most cases, this is an adjustment you or your dev would be aware of, having done it on purpose.
