However, since a couple of weeks, I’m struggling witht an error message. Whenever I try to edit a site or blog entry, the following message appears: “The block editor requires JavaScript. Please enable JavaScript in your browser settings, or try the Classic Editor plugin.” Also the site health tool says: “The Site Health check requires JavaScript.” I can use the Classic Editor right now only which is not the one I want to use. * I have no idea when this exactly started but I assume it could be timely close to an automatic update. * Right now I’m running WP 5.2.3 which I’ve already tried to re-install via the admin panel without any change. Also disabling all plugins installed was not helping me. I was wondering about the CSP. I disabled the WP CSP Plugin but it’s still delivering a CSP… I found some script content blocked which might cause the issue. * Now I have no idea why there is still a CSP delivered even the plugin is disabled. * To be honest, I’m not that familiar with WP, just using it for a blog… * Moderator [James Huff](https://wordpress.org/support/users/macmanx/) * (@macmanx) * [6 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-block-editor-requires-java-script/#post-11901236) * That seems odd, if everything under WordPress (even the Health Check plugin) is suggesting that your browser has JavaScript disabled, then I’d say your browser has JavaScript disabled. * But if Support Details doesn’t, well that’s odd. * If you mean [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-security-policy/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-security-policy/) it hasn’t been updated for 2 years, so getting rid of it seems like a good plan. * As for why it’s sticking around after deleting the plugin, are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache? * Note: You do not need to install a caching plugin at this point just to clear a cache you don’t have. Right now I still see a CSP getting delivered.
