  • I have the same issue, could you please suggest if there is a work around for the same. Seems like the plugin is looking for an attribute ‘_s2mail’ on every WP post or page

    In the file subscribe2/classes/class-s2-block-editor.php, I commented out the below code and Yoast works for me, This seems to be code specific to gutenberg editor and I have disabled the same in my WP site, so this fixed the issue for me temporarily, but I would wait to hear a permanent fix for the same.

    	wp_enqueue_script(
    			'subscribe2-sidebar',
    			S2URL . 'gutenberg/sidebar' . $this->script_debug . '.js',
    			array( 'wp-plugins', 'wp-element', 'wp-i18n', 'wp-edit-post', 'wp-components', 'wp-data', 'wp-compose', 'wp-api-fetch' ),
    			'1.1',
    			true
    		);

    Hello @cfrascadore ,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are working on it and will fix it in the next plugin update.

    Thanks to @saikiranece043 for the solution but it will completely remove the subscribe2 sidebar functionality and might cause additional issues.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thank You

    @ashiquzzaman We aren’t using sidebar functionality, could you confirm if we would be fine just commenting out that part until we wait for the plugin update. I greatly appreciate your help
