Error after trying enable the plugin

Hello! After trying to enable the plugin, it got an error, see below:

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/user/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/functions/parse-user-agent.php on line 123

Does someone know how to fix it? It’s an issue that has been happening since some days ago, because the first time I installed the plugin it was working fine, but now we’ve had that problem, have no idea why.

Have you changed your PHP version lately? Upgraded any other plugins?

No, we didn’t update WP or any plugins, I don’t know when that issue started happening.

Two things:

1. Can you delete and re-install WP Statistics and see if the error still happens?

2. Can you temporarily disable your other plugins and then enable WP Statistics and see if the error still happens?

Sure! The first item I already tried it, didn’t work 🙁 About the 2nd one, I’ll try and see what happens, then I come back here…

I’ve disabled all plugins, wp statistics still getting error after trying to enable it.

Any idea about why?

Not sure why it’s reporting that error, what version of PHP are you running?

Can you try running a quick test script, create a test.php file with the following in the root of your web server:
```
<?php

include( './blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/functions/parse-user-agent.php' );

print_r( parse_user_agent() );
?>
```
and then connect to it with a browser.

sounds like the parsed agent function worked fine, I really have no idea what that fuck error is displaying inside WP admin…

It’s a little weird, it should output something like:
```
Array ( [platform] => Windows [browser] => Firefox [version] => 38.0 )
```
but I’m getting:
```
www.novanoiva.com.br
99.243.35.249
```

Can you double check the contents of test.php, make sure it’s what is above an not something else?
