Error after latest WooCommerce update

After the latest WooCommerce update, I get the following error at the cart when using a subscription payment

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

Looking at the WooCommerce Logs, I see the following output. I suspect a problem with this plugin and the latest WooCommerce release.

Switched to Subscriptions for Woocommerce as site was losing money with broken cart…. https://www.webtoffee.com/product/woocommerce-subscriptions

Would still like to see issue fixed though.
