# Error AFTER installing theme

 * I installed WP in a folder of its own, put the .htaccess and index.php in the
   root – and It worked fine. Then I installed a Theme and everything is a mess –
   all I can get is this message:
 * _Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T\_STATIC, expecting T\_OLD\_FUNCTION 
   or T\_FUNCTION or T\_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/22/d287356847/htdocs/likeasat/wordpress/
   wp-content/themes/platformpro/sections/nav/section.nav.php on line 13_
 * I have used this theme before (the same version) so I guess that’s not the problem?
   I am going berserk, please please 😉

 * Sounds like the theme is at fault here.
    Try switching to the TwentyTen theme
   and see what happens. If it’s resolved then your theme has an error in it.
 * You might need to get a fresh copy of it.

 * Thank you Christine, it didn’t work…so I will make a new install 😉
